Floating market

Took a taxi to a floating market today. It’s about an hour and a half ride in a taxi away from the centre of Bangkok and the boat ride through the market was about 2 hours. Just made it back in time for cocktails 😋

Out and about in Bangkok

Went to see some temples today, it’s been around 20 years since we have been here and little has changed. Used the MRT on our way out but got a tuc tuc back. It was so hot outside that at one point our camera shut down. We then went into a roadside cafe for a drink and to let the camera cool down.  All good now 😊

Managed to watch the F1 in a bar too so it was a really good day. And result for Lewis 👍👍

Now in Bangkok

Had a little bit of an issue when leaving Hong Kong, turns out I messed up when booking the flights.  I booked for 28th August not September without realising. Only found out when we got to check in. Unfortunately the flight I was trying to get on was full so had to go through Skyscanner to buy another plane ticket.  On top of this our credit card company thought there was a fraud attempt on our card and blocked it just as I was trying to pay for a flight.  So a long phone call later we managed to book another flight just two hours later than planned & a lot better. Not bad considering lol

Now in Bangkok after the night before. Hotel is very nice, just sat at breakfast writing this feeling stuffed. 😋 planning our day.   

Hotel is in a great location right in front of restaurants and bars.
